Partner with Brands Using These 6 Ideas
Do you want to work with brands but feel like the options are limited? Or maybe you don't have the numbers you "need" to get brands to pay attention to you? In this episode, Bree is sharing 6 out of the box ways that you can work with brands regardless of where you're at in your business journey and how many followers you have on a specific platform.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THIS EPISODE:
"There is power in us talking to people! If you're able to have a conversation on the phone, or over zoom with a brand, they're going to be more connected to you and more likely to work with you, more likely to keep working with you, and continue relationship. And also, you never know that person may also be helping out with other brands, or move to another brand that you would want to work with."

Sidebar Ads
The first one is sidebar ads. We've touched on this a bit in the past but it's so important that it's worth covering again. This ad option is one of the many reasons why I recommend that everybody always have a sidebar on every page of their website! This is one of the first things that I look for whenever you join one of our coaching programs. A sidebar is valuable real estate. The goal of our website is to keep people on it, and click around to increase our page views, and a sidebar does just that. It not only does this for your own site, but it also gives you real estate that you can sell for advertising.
The cool thing about this is that while you do need a decent page view count before you offer this, you can pitch this space to larger brands and small businesses. You can go over to some of your favorite Etsy shops and pitch them. It doesn't have to be only big well-known brands. I know a lot of you guys love supporting small businesses, and this is a huge opportunity for us to support them.
Facebook LIVES
This is another one that isn't necessarily reliant on your numbers on Instagram, or TikTok. I'm not even saying you have to have a certain amount of Facebook followers to do this. What you can pitch here is doing a Facebook live on the brand's account. This is you offering to go live and talk about why you love their brand, why you love their product, how you use it in your life, and how it's made a difference. It's great for the brand because they have someone coming in and bragging about their stuff for them.
Dedicated Emails
So many of you are working on growing your email list! Did you know that this is a way you can monetize it? If you have a dedicated email list of 5,000 subscribers or more, you can also sell spots in your email! This is specially true if you have an high open rate. (If you have anything over 30% that's super high and amazing! Even anything over 20% is great.) So you can sell email mentions and dedicated emails to brands.
Giveaways
These can be a lot of fun! You can get one brand involved, or you can get multiple brands involved! There can be a theme like holiday, or for your birthday. There's multiple different ways you can do this! It could be shared on social media, on your email list, in a blog post, in so many places besides only Instagram.
A great place to start would be by asking the brand what metrics they are looking for. Are they wanting clicks to their website? Would they like more email signups? Do they have a code they'd like people to use again? Tailoring your pitch and then the giveaway to what they're needing is a great way to get brands on board.
Selling Your Photos
These last two things are so valuable and is something that has become more popular with brands. We worked with a girl inside the Profitable Blogger Society who was selling her photos to brands for $500 each. The reality is that brands are needing awesome content, and you can create something that is real and relatable to their audience. Pricing for this is dependent on where they want to use it, how long they want to have access to it, and a whole bunch of different things. But at a minimum, you should start somewhere between $500 to $800 for photos.
Creating Content only for them
Yes, of course, this can include photos and videos. But that could also include writing blog posts for them, writing tutorials, and creating recipes. We know an amazing food blogger who created three recipes for a brand using their sauces! She was able to do that and didn't even have to post it to her audience at all! You can do that with crafts and all kinds of creative things.
Whenever you're working with brands, know that your worth is far beyond any number that you got on any platform. I also want to encourage you that you can make money working with brands! It may be a little bit more difficult to get a brand to talk to you, or get them to acknowledge the value that you have, but it can so worth it!
