How often do I release an opt-in?

Opt-ins are the number one way to grow your email list, but can you grow with just one?

Sure! But it's going to be so much faster if you create more opt-ins, frequently.

Strategic Content

Always make sure that you are creating opt-ins that are for your target audience. It's okay to have fun and create trending things, but we don't want to grow your email list full of people that don't want to get your content. You want to make sure that your opt-in is aligned with the audience that you are consistently creating.

Evergreen Opt-Ins

The first opt-in you create should be one that is evergreen. That means that it can be used year-round. So an example of a non-evergreen piece of content would be something about Christmas, but one that could be evergreen is an opt-in about how to create a gallery wall. Create an evergreen one first, and then you can grow your content base from there.

Quarterly Releases

Once you've made your first opt-in, it's time to create more! If you want to do seasonal opt-ins now is when you can do so. Just make sure that you are creating them three months prior to the season so you can get them circulating on Pinterest first. You can also continue to make evergreen ones if that is more your jam! But we will tell you that sometimes those seasonal ones can be hot hot hot and drive you a lot of traffic year after year.
