[00:00:00] Hello, friends. Welcome back to another episode. If you've ever felt like being a content creator means doing 10 different jobs at once, creating content, pitching brands, keeping up with the trends, figuring out what you're going to strategize next, what does your audience need, responding to comments, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
[00:00:19] Oh, while trying to stay consistent, you're not alone. Today. In this episode, I am breaking down three things you can do right now to make your life easier as an influencer. These are gonna be simple, practical shifts that will save you time, help you reduce overwhelm, and keep you focused on what you actually love creating and connecting.
[00:00:38] So let's dive in. Welcome to the Thrive Podcast, where we believe creators deserve more, more money, more freedom, and even more love for what they do. I'm Brie P, your coach for content creators. And I know the struggle, the long hours, the endless ideas, the feeling that success is just out of reach. But here's the truth.
[00:01:02] You've got what it takes. And this podcast, it's your shortcut to getting there from strategies that actually work to behind the scenes insights. We are unlocking your potential one episode at a time. So if you're ready to turn your creative hustle into a thriving business. Let's get started.
[00:01:24] Being an influencer is amazing, but let's be real. It can also feel like you're juggling all of the things. So let's dive into three different things that you can start doing that are going to help and make sure that you love this job long term. Number one, batching and repurposing. Content. I know if you've been around for a while, I sound like a broken script.
[00:01:48] If you're new to this podcast, welcome. I am very passionate about batching and repurposing content because when I am tired, when I am feeling behind or feeling like I am just running on that content creation hamster wheel, and it is about to spin me for a loop, I have got to repurpose or start batching so I can get ahead.
[00:02:12] So badging content can look as simple as thinking through a series and thinking through how can I film multiple pieces of content that are going to be able to be spread out over a longer period of time. Or, man, I want to stay consistent with emailing my list, but I just feel like I am doing it like the night before start.
[00:02:35] Planning time in your week or once or twice a month to go and sit down and just write emails for an hour or two. It's doing one task multiple times in a row so that way you stay in that train of focus and you don't lose time by switching. It's called context switching, and it takes so much time, um, away from what you're doing.
[00:03:01] But if you can rather focus on one task at a time, but do one task for multiple things, you're going to work so much faster. I have an entire episode dedicated just to batching and how to do this for yourself. So we'll link that in the show notes. Um, and I highly recommend listening to it if you haven't already, and you probably haven't 'cause it aired quite a while ago, but it still rings true.
[00:03:27] Then repurposing. So taking one piece of content and turning it into multiple things. So it could look like turning a reel into multiple posts on LTK, using stills from it, or small pieces of the video to clip and use on LTK, posting it over on Facebook, posting it as YouTube shorts, right? It's giving that.
[00:03:53] Piece of content legs. In fact, we're gonna be talking about this next week even more so definitely come back for that one. But how can you take what you're already doing and just get it out there even more? How could it become a pin on Pinterest? How could it be the foundation for your next email to your audience?
[00:04:12] And by figuring out these kind of workflows, you're going to work more efficiently and you're gonna find like me, um, that when I'm not doing these things, I start to get really overwhelmed again and really exhausted. And that's what I know. Oh yeah. I'm just working day to day and I am not able to work ahead at all.
[00:04:35] Batching and repurposing content really helps you get ahead and get out from underneath. Just feeling like you are being run over by your job. And this is also the kind of workflow that we talk through inside of Bold Fluence and teach you how to do it so that way you don't have to guess on what to repurpose or how to stretch your content because we've already built those roadmaps for you.
[00:04:57] So link to that also in the description below. Alright. Thing number two to try is different systems and tools that will save you hours. I do not believe that you need to have a really large tech stack. I don't think you need to play paying for multiple, multiple subscriptions. I like to run my business really, really lean and will ruthlessly cut subscriptions.
[00:05:26] So there are a few that I love to use, but. I really recommend you have at least something in place for a content calendar. So either like an asana, an air table, a notion, something where you can stay organized and can be your content hub. It's going to be a place where you can. Link things where you can plan content.
[00:05:51] You need a home base where your business can really like. This is the operating system for my entire business. It's all in one spot. I can find everything I need. The other thing you need is some type of email marketing platform. We love Flow Desk and you can get 50% off your first month, um, or your first year if you pay for the year upfront.
[00:06:14] When you use our code Thrive or click the link in the description below. I will tell you this right now from its beginning Flow, has done a pricing model. That is one price no matter how many subscribers you have, which is great because you can have 80,000 subscribers and not get quote unquote penalized for it and be charged out the wazoo.
[00:06:38] It's been a really cool thing to watch them do, however. Times have changed, different things have happened and they are doing away with that business model. So as of November, they will have tiered pricing. So my suggestion is that if you've been on the fence about floats or you've been thinking about signing up, I would sign up right away.
[00:07:00] Because if you sign up prior to them changing their pricing structure, you are locked in. So you will be locked in for that price forever. Until you quit, which is great because then whether you have 5,000 or 50,000 subscribers, you're not going to have to pay more. That's, you know, amazing. No other email marketing provider does that.
[00:07:24] They always charge you more than more subscribers you have. So if you've been thinking about it. I highly recommend signing up before they change their pricing structure. And like I said, you can get 50% off for your first year when you use our code Thrive, so it makes it come out to only like $19 a month for the first year.
[00:07:43] So that's my suggestion there. Um, so back to more tech tools. So flow desks is obviously one that I use. You need an email marketing CER provider and it's going to help save you time. The other one that I really recommend is something like MiniChat. I love MiniChat. It also integrates now with flow desks, which means you can set it up to where, let's say you're wanting to collect emails from people and to send them at opt-in with the integration with flow desks, and it works with some others.
[00:08:13] I know it works with ConvertKit, or Kit I should say, where you can set up an integration to where all they do is enter their email address. In your Instagram dms and it'll sign them up so they don't actually have to do that third step of going to a form and filling it out because you're losing a lot of people in that switch.
[00:08:33] This keeps it all in the dms, and you can really grow your list a lot faster so it's finally integrated with flow desks. I think this is a huge game changer. If you're already on flow desks, make sure you use this integration. So even, you know, tools like this are ones that I recommend, but even a simple spreadsheet could save you hours if you're tracking collabs or deadlines and content ideas all in one spot, right?
[00:08:59] Like simplify. If you look at everything across the board and you're like, I am using 15 different tools. I've got things here, I've got things there, I've got things on a random notebook, I've got things in a planner. It's exhausting, and we need things that are going to make our life easier, so keep things all together.
[00:09:16] So whether it's in one hub, like an Asana or notion, or whether it's a spreadsheet, just kind of gather things and spend some time this week, next week really organizing yourself because it's going to save you so much time and help you have a lot less stress. All right. The third thing to make your life easier is boundaries and support.
[00:09:44] Normalize it for yourself that you don't have to do everything on your own. You don't have to do everything yourself. I think it is very easy for us to overload ourselves and to be like, well, I can't get help until I get to this point, or, I can't spend money on that until I get to this point. I've even done that myself, and then have spent money on different things, and I'm like, oh my gosh, I wish I would've spent money on this so much sooner because it would've made me so much more money.
[00:10:14] It would've saved me time. It would've helped me get to this spot faster. So it could be something like hiring a assistant for inbox management, or to help you send pitches, outsourcing design, or getting help with tech support for your website. It can even look like setting clear office hours for yourself to set some boundaries, right?
[00:10:39] You have to set boundaries. You cannot work 24 7. You cannot always work weekends. And if you are in a spot where you feel like, Brie, I can't take the weekends off because my audience will not remember me on Monday. I, I have helped try to coach people through that mindset so much, and I just need you to know it's not sustainable.
[00:11:00] And also you don't deserve that, right? If, if any of your friends were coming to you and were like, my boss is making me work seven days a week, you'd be like, quit immediately. Right? So why are you doing the same thing? Don't do that to yourself. Do not work seven days a week. Even if you love it, even if you are loving your job, you will not love your job later down the road if you are working seven days a week.
[00:11:29] So. I wanna just, you know, also say along with this, if you're struggling with figuring out where do I need to focus to grow my audience, where do I need to focus to grow monetarily? Also, Brie, where do I get some help and support so I'm not just in my head 24 7. That's what Bold Foods is for, and that's why it's not just roadmaps and, you know, here do this by Z but it, it, it's also a community.
[00:11:56] You can ask questions and learn from peers and get the support that keeps you from burning out. It's, you know, these things are. Yes. These things I just shared are to make your life easier, but it's also conversations like this that we need to be having more often with each other. That's why I love having this podcast and love having a way to talk to you guys.
[00:12:19] Because it's so needed. What I love about having the Bold Foods community is then I get to talk to you, and then I get to hear your response, and then we can have that back and forth dialogue, and you can have that with other peers in there as well, because that is what makes a difference. That is what is going to help you grow in this industry and grow in this career.
[00:12:39] That can be really challenging and can be extremely challenging when you're doing it all by yourself 24 7 and in your head all the time. So let's do a quick recap. Making your life easier as an influencer comes down to batching and repurposing your content. Using systems and tools that will actually save you hours and setting boundaries and finding the support you need.
[00:13:02] So if you're ready to stop doing it all on your own, you want step-by-step roadmaps, templates, and a community of creators who get it, then bold fluence is the place for you. It's where influencers like you can simplify and grow and build a business that actually feels sustainable. Like, okay, yeah, I can.
[00:13:21] Keep doing this. I can do this long term. I can stick with it until it really, really works well for me. You can check it out and join us today at Thrive Together blog slash bold fluence and I can't wait to see you inside.

Why Being a Creator Feels So Overwhelming
Let’s just say it: being an influencer often feels like doing ten jobs at once.
You're the creative director, the editor, the strategist, the community manager, the admin assistant, the pitching pro… all while trying to stay relevant in an algorithm that never sleeps. If you’ve ever felt like you’re stuck on a hamster wheel, constantly chasing the next thing while barely keeping up, you’re not alone.
What good is building a dream life if you’re too exhausted to enjoy it?
The 3 Shifts That Changed Everything for Me
These are the three shifts I’ve leaned on not just to survive as a creator, but to actually thrive.
1. Batch & Repurpose Your Content
This is your creative oxygen mask. When I started batching, everything changed.
Batching means grouping similar tasks together to stay in flow. It means you don’t just sit down to make one reel—you plan and shoot five while you're already in the groove. You don’t write one email, but instead you write a month’s worth in one focused session.
Why it works:
- You reduce context switching, which is one of the biggest drains on productivity.
- You’re already in the mindset, so things flow easier.
- You stay ahead instead of constantly scrambling.
Then, repurposing: This is the part most creators skip. You put in effort for one piece of content… and then you let it live once?
No way.
Repurpose your best content like a pro:
- Turn a reel into a carousel, a short-form video, a Pinterest pin, and an email topic.
- Clip audio for a quote post.
- Pull stills for a blog banner or LTK post.
You’ve already done the work, now stretch it. Content is not one-and-done. It’s an ecosystem.
2. Streamline with Systems & Tools That Actually Save Time
Not all tools are helpful. In fact, too many tools can be just as stressful as not having enough.
Here’s what I tell every creator I coach: your tech stack should be lean.
At minimum, you need:
A Content Hub: Pick ONE place to plan and manage your content.
- Options: Asana, Notion, Airtable
- Purpose: Keep your ideas, status, assets, links, brand deadlines—all in one place.
An Email Marketing Platform: Yes, you still need email. I use Flodesk because:
- Flat pricing (but changing soon—see below!)
- Gorgeous templates
- Easy automation
Heads up: Flodesk is moving to tiered pricing in November. If you join now, you're locked into the old flat rate forever—even if you grow your list to 80k+. Don’t wait if you’ve been on the fence! Use code THRIVE for 50% off your first year.
Integrations That Save You Steps: ManyChat now integrates with Flodesk. So someone can drop their email in your DMs and boom—they’re on your list. No forms. No awkward links. Just growth, simplified.
Even if all you use is a well-organized Google Sheet, organization is your edge.
3. Build Boundaries & Get Support
This is the hard one. Especially if you love your work (and you probably do). But working seven days a week—even on something you love—will burn you out.
If your best friend said their boss made them work every weekend, you'd tell them to quit. So why do we treat ourselves that way? Let’s normalize getting help before you’re on the brink.
Support can look like:
- Hiring a VA for inbox or brand pitches
- Paying for a tech assistant or designer
- Setting firm “office hours” and sticking to them
- Saying no without guilt
- Joining a community of peers who get it
It’s not indulgent. It’s strategic. I wish I had said “yes” to help sooner, because when I finally invested, it unlocked not just more time, but more money.
And yes, this is part of why I created Boldfluence. It’s not just a course—it’s a community, a support system, a strategy bank, a place to get out of your own head. Because we need that just as much as we need new content ideas.
Let’s Recap
If you're tired of the hustle hamster wheel, here’s where to start:
- Batch + repurpose to work smarter and avoid burnout
- Simplify your systems and use tools that actually help
- Set real boundaries and normalize getting help
You don’t need to do everything. You just need to do the right things, with the right systems and support.
