Okay. Episode three of talking about how to maximize your fall and holidays and really going into that prep mode. So we're now going to talk about bingeable content. This can be bingeable content on your blog, on social media. On your email, whichever platforms you love apply these strategies to that.
Okay. The reason that we want to create bingeable content is because that is who we are right now. We love to binge things, right? Whether it's us binging Bridgerton or bingeing literally anything, right? We're scrolling on Instagram and all of a sudden we go down a rabbit hole and then when they've changed the algorithms, that's all we see.
Right. We want to do this with our content so that our content. Is the one that others are binging because that is what is going to create momentum. It's going to get more views, more likes, more shares and help you grow. So how do we create bingeable content around the holidays? What can we do right now to go ahead and set up some plans for some holiday binging material that we can create?
Okay. Bye. Now, I've seen stuff like this go around for a while, and so I'm going to give you a couple of examples. And one is I was talking with Ashley at Attempts at Domestication. She is Inside Shift, and she came to me and she was like, Bri, I think I'm going to do 31 days of Halloween cocktails on my Instagram.
What do you think? And I was immediately, hell yes, that is going to be so, so good. The thing about bingeable content is that it really creates momentum and helps you stay consistent. It's also going to be able to give your audience something to binge. So if somebody is new to find you, they have more of that content that attracted them to your account for them to see.
So let's say that day five, day six, even day 12 or 13 All of a sudden, one of her reels with a Halloween cocktail goes viral. Now, whenever they go to her account, she is more likely to get more views on her other reels and hopefully potentially more follows on her account because they're like, Oh, there's more of this here.
And that's what I found. And that's what I want to see. So they're going to hit follow. They're going to go and click on those other reels and they're going to keep watching and binging that content. Right. That is what we want to give our audience. I saw somebody recently and I stumbled upon their own account because they were doing a series and she was doing this series talking about a couple of different things that she was really focusing on this challenge that she was issuing for herself and every single day she creates a reel and shares what she did that day or the day before and is going through this and she is going to do it, I think she said for six months and so because of it, I think I finally found her.
Um, I, I feel like she was in the teens as far as like how many days she was in, but I started binging it and I loved it and it was inspiring and I hit follow. This was literally in the month of July. All happened in the month of July. What that did for me personally was kickstarted me to do my own challenge.
And if you go to my own personal Instagram account, Bri Pair over on Instagram. You'll see that I am now doing this challenge as well, and I am posting a reel every single day documenting what I am working on and what my challenge is to myself, and I've given myself the deadline of January 1st, and I'm showing up every single day.
My reels are slowly starting to get more views, and you know, the hope of course is that one of them takes off and gets more views than the other, and And that by that point, I will have a lot more of that type of content on my feed. So that way, when somebody comes to my feed, they're like, Oh yeah, I want to see more from this girl and I want to hit follow.
Versus if you have just something random go viral, but you don't have any more of that type of content on your feed, what are the odds of that person sticking around after they see you on that one random video, right? So we don't want that. We want them to come and binge our content. So what type of content can you make that is bingeable?
Even if it's just for five or 10 days, it doesn't have to be a super long series. I'm being a little crazy and saying by January 1st, I would love to be able to continue this for six months. That's a really freaking long time, right? Even Ashley doing 31 days of Halloween cocktails is a commitment. So don't feel like you have to do it for that long.
So uh, Let's just like brainstorm real quick, some Instagram real series ideas, and then we'll do some for the blog. Okay. So maybe it's like 12 days of holiday DIYs or the 12 days of whatever for the holidays. Okay. It doesn't have to be specifically Christmas related if that's not something you celebrate, but what is something you could do for 12 days?
I've seen a lot of people do 12 days of giveaways and where they partner with other brands and partner with them to give something away every single day. And I've seen huge success with that. You could do a holiday recipes countdown, holiday outfit inspiration, holiday cleaning and organization tips, self care tips, right?
You could also turn all of those into blog posts or do an ultimate holiday planning guide. You could do holiday budgeting tips on your blog and create like a series of this where it's multiple posts, how to budget for holiday travel, how to budget for, um, buying Christmas presents, how to budget. For hosting a Christmas party, right?
There's a lot of different things that you can branch off on and create a series around that is bingeable linkable to each other, right? Maybe it's seasonal crafts for kids where you have each blog post is a different craft that kids can do. Also, let's up level that and create a printable that goes along with it and grow your email list at the same time and let's get it out on Pinterest, right?
So, there are so many ways that you can take an idea and expand it into a series. So, whatever you're thinking of next, maybe you take it right now, like, what is the next blog post that you're thinking about writing? What could you do instead of doing that one blog post and expand it into a series and expand it into ways that you could create an opt in for it, expand it into social media, into Pinterest, into some type of video content, take one idea and create multiple things from it, create a series from it, create things that are going to be bingeable for your audience, and when you do that, I cannot wait to see what happens for you.
Okay. We've got one more episode left in this series. So I'll see you back here next Tuesday to wrap this up. So we are all ready to go for the holidays.
