Yes, a real game to get your content out there in a way that’s strategic and fun. In this replay of episode 351, I’m walking you through the Viral Visibility Game—a free opt-in and a powerful method to flip the script on the usual “post and pray” strategy.

I explain how I turned the frustrating process of content promotion into a point-based system you’ll actually want to stick with. It's not about gimmicks, trends, or exhausting engagement hacks. It’s about creating a real, repeatable plan to boost your visibility without burning out.

[00:00:00] As I was going through our strategy and trying to decide what this week's episode was going to be, I really wanted to talk about. Something that we all want, and that is more visibility. We want our posts to be seen more. We want them to be read. We want our emails to be read. We want the content that we are working so damn hard at creating to be seen.

[00:00:24] Right. And so that brought me back to the Viral Visibility Game, which is a episode and an opt-in that I created for you guys to download for free. And we recorded this episode, episode three. 51, and I walk you through, you know what we do when nobody's actually seeing the amazing content that we're creating, or not nearly enough people.

[00:00:51] So in this replay, we are talking about flipping the script on the post and pray strategies, right? Like, I'm just gonna send it out to the universe and hope for the best because what else can I do? And the truth is there is. A lot that we can do. There are things that can make a big difference, but we have to sit down for a second and talk about them and make a plan.

[00:01:12] And so that's why I created the viral visibility game. And recorded this episode because I needed to make a system that made sense for us to get more visibility and actually see it, right? Like not any of these things that go viral on Instagram that people are telling, oh, do this and then use this music and then post it in this way and post it at this time, and engage for 30 minutes before and right.

[00:01:40] So many things that were like, okay, I'll try it, but oh my God, that's exhausting. No, give me a real plan. And that's what this is. So replay headed your way. Let's get started. Welcome to the Thrive Podcast, where we believe creators deserve more, more money, more freedom, and even more love for what they do.

[00:02:02] I'm Bree p, your coach for content creators. And I know the struggle, the long hours, the endless ideas, the feeling that success is just out of reach. But here's the truth. You've got what it takes. And this podcast, it's your shortcut to getting there from strategies that actually work to behind the scenes insights.

[00:02:23] We are unlocking your potential one episode at a time. So if you're ready to turn your creative hustle into a thriving business. Let's get started.

[00:02:35] You're posting that reel, writing that blog post, maybe even filming a YouTube video. Get it, girl. But let's be honest, how many people are actually seeing it? It's probably less than you think. Probably less than we want. Definitely less than we want, and most. Instagram posts, if we're just talking about Instagram, they're only reaching one to 3% of your audience.

[00:02:59] This means you're doing all that work and hardly anyone is ever seeing it. It's not that you don't have great content, it's that your promotion strategy is either non-existent or just not repeatable. And look, I get it. This is something that I see over and over. With myself and with the girls inside of Shift or bold fluence, it's, it's challenging.

[00:03:28] Promoting over and over again can feel really awkward. It can feel exhausting sometimes. It can feel pointless. So let me ask you, when you get done filming, editing, creating the cover art, writing the caption, and finally posting that reel, do you share it anywhere else or is that it? Okay. What about a blog post when you get done doing the SEO, the research, outlining, drafting, getting the photo shot and edited, and finally pushing, publish on your blog post outside of posting a few pins and sharing about it once on social media, when it goes live, do you do anything else with it?

[00:04:07] After writing that email, publishing the thread, or creating a YouTube short, are you doing anything else with it? We've talked about repurposing, and this goes beyond repurposing. Actually. You don't even have to repurpose this at all necessarily. I don't feel like that's the right word for this. You just need to share it.

[00:04:27] Again, sometimes we think of repurposing as like, oh, I have to take this, and then I have to like cut it and I have to edit it again in a different way and use the same footage and create something else with it. And yes, a hundred percent you can. That's great. That's, you know, doing less shooting and less work to create more content.

[00:04:48] But with this, all I'm saying is that you just need to share that exact same piece of content that you've already created and share it again. Same copy even I don't care. So what is the solution? How do we, you know, it, it kind of feels like forcing ourselves to do this, right? Well, the solution is the title of this podcast episode, the Viral Visibility Game.

[00:05:14] I made a game, guys. I'm pretty excited about it. I, I need to go and text my brother after this because I remember him. He was super creative as a kid and would make up these games, and I always thought that was the coolest thing. I never could come up with a game, and I came up with a game. I'm so pumped.

[00:05:30] Anyways, so what I want you to do. Is consider every single time you promote a piece of content to be one point, and your goal in this game is to get 20 points within 30 days. So let me give you an example. Let's say you make and publish a reel. Instead of just letting that be it. Here's what else we're going to do.

[00:05:55] To get five points within the first three days, you're gonna take that reel and you're gonna share it on threads. You're gonna post it on Pinterest, you're gonna share it in a Facebook group, yours or somebody else's. You're gonna post it on LinkedIn and you're going to share it to your stories. Boom.

[00:06:12] Easy five points. Next, you're going to get a total of 10 points within seven days, then 20 points within 30 days, and by the time one month is up, you've taken that one piece of content and gotten it out in front of your target audience. 20. Times we have to make this fun. That's why it's called a game and like a game, there are rules, which I just went over your three days, seven days, and 30 day targets.

[00:06:44] But there's also variables, which is what makes a game fun, right? You have the rules. Yes. But then there's all these different ways to achieve your. End goal and win the game, right? So with the viral visibility game, you're going to get over 27 ideas for sharing your content. You get to pick and choose.

[00:07:02] Remember, you only need 20 points. So I'm giving you more options than you actually need, and you can totally double up on some of them. If you're like, Ooh, I really wanna, you know, create three pins for this instead of just one that's gonna get you three points instead of one point. So imagine this, not just for a real.

[00:07:20] But imagine this for an email opt-in that you spent so much time on, on a blog post, on a YouTube video. You can give it so much more visibility. It's time to take control of your own destiny and stop relying on the algorithm to deliver your content to your audience. It's time to deliver it yourself. So if you're ready for the game, head to Thrive together.blog/game, it's totally free, and I'll be cheering you on while you rack up those points and grow your visibility because your content is freaking amazing and it deserves to be seen.

[00:07:57] So let's get it seen in a fun way. Thrive together blog slash game, or you can just DM me the word game on my Instagram or on Thrives and we will automatically send you the game. Alright? See you out there on the playing field.

[00:08:21] If this episode helped you, help us grow, leave a review, share it with a friend, and tag us on social media. We can't wait to cheer you on.

Why the “Post and Pray” Method Isn’t Working

We’ve all been there, where we're pouring our energy into something only to hit publish and immediately feel that pit in our stomach. Is this thing even going to land?

Here’s the truth: most Instagram posts reach only 1–3% of your audience. Emails go unopened. Blog posts collect digital dust. The common thread is that we're relying too heavily on the platform's algorithm to deliver the content for us.

That’s not a strategy. That’s a wish.

“Post and pray” is exhausting. It makes you question your worth and the value of your work. The problem isn’t you—it’s the lack of a promotion system that works.

The Viral Visibility Game

So I built a system, but not just any system. Instead, I made a game.

The Viral Visibility Game is a fun, measurable way to get your content seen. It works like this: every time you promote a piece of content somewhere new, you get a point: Pinterest, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, stories, etc. The goal is 20 points in 30 days.

That’s it. That’s the game.

And before you ask, no—you don’t need to repurpose your content into five different formats. You can literally just share the same exact piece again. You don’t have to rewrite the caption. You don’t need new graphics. You just have to share it more than once.

The Rules Are Simple—and That’s the Point

Think of it like this:

  • Share your reel on Threads? One point.
  • Drop it into a Facebook group? Another point.
  • Create a couple of pins? That’s two more.
  • Post it to LinkedIn, drop it in your stories, share it in a DM? Boom—you’re at five points already.

You have 30 days to hit 20 points per piece of content. And I’ve given you more than 27 different ideas to pick from—so you’re never stuck wondering what to do next. You can even double-dip. If you make three different pins, that’s three points. Easy.

This isn't just a visibility strategy—it's a mindset shift. You’re taking control of your own reach, instead of waiting for some magical algorithm to favor you.

How It Changes the Game (Literally)

When you start using this method, you'll noticed a huge difference. Not just in metrics—but in mindset.

Suddenly, you won't feel bad about your content flopping, because you'll know you had a plan. You're not done after one post—you have 19 more ways to get it out into the world.

It will make marketing feel exciting again. For me, I am finally having fun with my visibility strategy—and that’s what I want for you too.

Because your content? It’s freaking amazing. And it deserves to be seen.
