[00:00:00] If you've ever felt unsure about your rates and what to charge brands, then I've got you covered. The thing is, when we are not feeling super confident in what we are charging brands, what we are pricing them, and also being aware that it can vary from brand to brand that we are pitching and that we are giving them quotes for, it can be really unnerving.

[00:00:26] It can be something that gives you a lack of confidence, causes imposter syndrome, and ultimately will cause you to make less money overall than you should be. And so how do we fix that? How do we solve this problem? And let's be real, it is a massive problem in this industry. Influencers, content creators not getting paid what they are worth.

[00:00:52] It's a huge problem when we look at the stats for how many influencers there are, how many content creators we have that are wanting to go full time, that are making money. And the smaller percentages, I believe it's 10 percent or less that are making that livable wage. That is mind blowing because content creators are some of the hardest working individuals out there.

[00:01:18] You guys are trying to build a business from scratch. You are spending hours upon hours creating content, building brands, and often trying to do this without having the background. of knowing how to build a business. And so one of the biggest things is definitely, what do we charge brands? You want that to be a big income stream for you, and you want it to be one that you can grow, but where do you begin?

[00:01:52] Welcome to the thrive podcast, where we believe creators deserve more, more money. More freedom and even more love for what they do. I'm Bri Payer, your coach for content creators. And I know the struggle, the long hours, the endless ideas, the feeling that success is just out of reach. But here's the truth.

[00:02:13] You've got what it takes. And this podcast, it's your shortcut to getting there. From strategies that actually work to behind the scenes insights, we're unlocking your potential one episode at a time. So if you're ready to turn your creative hustle into a thriving business, let's get started.

[00:02:34] What we have done over the years is we have compiled all this data from your favorite content creators, ones that we have had here on the podcast, who have been willing to share their rates with us. We are so grateful for every single person that has contributed to this. And we have compiled all of this information together into our pricing guide.

[00:02:59] You guys have heard us talk about it before and why we're bringing it up again is because it's so important that every single creator has this. We want to get this into the hand of as many content creators as possible. But we have also made some updates to it. So I'm going to walk you through a few of the updates that we have made.

[00:03:18] One of the biggest updates is that we've added more platforms in. So that's really exciting. But just as a reminder, whenever you download this pricing guide, which is 100 percent free, you're going to see a range in there. And that is because like we talked about a couple seconds ago, there is a range whenever you are pricing different brands.

[00:03:41] It could be because of certain deliverables, it could be because of exclusivity, it could be if they are wanting to put some ad dollars behind it. There are so many different things that go into it, which is again what makes it so challenging. But what this pricing guide does is it gives you that base to know, okay, as long as I am within this range, I am on track.

[00:04:08] I am not. going too low. I am not being crazy and going to scare brands off. I am in the range. I should be and getting get paid and going to get paid what I deserve. So let's dive into looking at what is all inside this pricing guide for you guys. Now, the qualifiers for all of the pricing that you will find in the guide is that you are consistently posting, you're getting consistent views, and your audience is engaged.

[00:04:39] Now, I know when you hear like consistent views or your audience is engaged, it can look like A lot of different things, especially in 2025, when it seems like algorithms are just on a roller coaster that they're, they're just riding that rollercoaster of emotions and we got to just stick with it. So just know that if you're consistently posting, doing your part to show up, create content that is going to resonate with your audience, you're doing your part.

[00:05:08] And I say that because if you are going into this being like, Oh, well, I have 12, 000 followers, so I should be making this amount of money, but I haven't posted in two months because I'm burnt out. That is going to affect things. So my advice is get back on that consistent posting schedule. No matter which platform it is, and then you can look at starting to work with brands and starting to pitch again.

[00:05:34] And I do say pitching, but this is also these, every single thing in here is rates for whether a brand has reached out to you or you are reaching out to them. So I wanted to tell you what all we have in here that you can look to get advice on. So we have Instagram, we have pricing for Tik TOK. We have advice on YouTube, on Facebook, Pinterest, your blog, email.

[00:06:02] And then we also dive into how to create bundles of different things, which is. A great way to increase what you are making when you are working with brands. If you have a few platforms, even just two platforms where you have an engaged audience and something to offer brands and you don't have to have crazy numbers to get started.

[00:06:26] But what we have in here is also, if you do have, let's say a hundred thousand followers on Instagram, we have those rates in here for you. We have those ranges in here for you. If you are under 10 K. 1, 000 followers on a social media platform. We have those rates in here for you. If your email list is slower, let's say if your email list is small, we have rates in here for you.

[00:06:57] Did you know that you could make a hundred to 500 even if you only have 500 followers on your email list, 500 subscribers you can. So don't let social media. And quote unquote, experts that are creating these viral videos tell you what you should charge because more often than not, when we're going on to these different things, and our team is doing research to see what are these calculators or what are these other experts saying.

[00:07:29] It's really unfortunate because a lot of the times we see that people are consistently telling you to undercharge. We're seeing it even in some big name Facebook communities for content creators that people are paying for and we're not going to name names, but Hearing that these Facebook groups and that people are paying to get advice from big influencers are telling them rates that are so much lower than what is industry standard and what their peers are charging is so disheartening and something you can probably tell by the how quickly I'm talking that I am extremely passionate about because I am so passionate about you getting paid what you're worth.

[00:08:10] I don't want people working for free. You create gorgeous, amazing, beautiful content, and you deserve to get paid for that brands are going to go and spend tens of thousands of dollars for the same photo shoot that you are able to create and deliver. So don't sell yourself short. So where do you get this pricing guide thrive together.

The goal of this is that every single content creator knows what they should be charging, knows their worth, and that we are raising the industry rate together, because what happens is when multiple after multiple people charge below.

[00:08:53] The rate below what they should be charging. It brings the industry average down and it brings that rate down for what brands are willing to pay because they can get away with it. But when we're all on the same page, we're able to raise that rate and everyone is getting paid what they are worth, what they deserve.

[00:09:11] And we are going to raise the industry rate together. We got to stick together. So thrive together. Dot blog slash pricing guide. It's free. So download it and share it with a friend.

Pricing Brand Deals as a Creator

The statistics are alarming—countless influencers and content creators aspire to make a full-time career out of their passion, yet only a small percentage (10% or fewer) make a livable wage. This is surprising given how tirelessly content creators work to build their businesses from the ground up, often without the formal knowledge of how to run a business.

One of the most significant factors in moving from part-time creator to full-time creator is knowing how to charge brands appropriately. That's where our Pricing Guide comes into play!

The Brand Deal Pricing Guide for Creators

Over the years, we've gathered data from some of your favorite content creators, who have generously shared their rates with us. This information is compiled into our comprehensive Pricing Guide.  Our pricing guide includes rates suitable for a range of follower counts—from under 1,000 to over 100,000—and for platforms of varying sizes.

As you dive into the guide, keep in mind that the qualifiers for all of the pricing that you will find in the guide is that you are consistently posting, you're getting consistent views, and your audience is engaged.

While creating this guide has made such an impact on creators with followings of all sizes, we saw that it was time for an update! We've included rate ranges for more platforms: TikTok, Youtube, Facebook, Pinterest, and more.

Why we provide a rate range?  There will be a range whenever you are pricing different brands. This could be due to deliverables, exclusivity, ad spend, etc.

Our goal in creating this guide is that every content creator understands their value and we collectively raise industry rates. By sticking together, we can ensure that everyone gets paid what they deserve.
