[00:00:00] Hello. It is time for another quick win on this thriving five Tuesday, man. Should we just rename this quick wins on? Tuesdays in less than five minutes. See, that's why I can't rename it because it would be such a long name, but that's really in reality what this is. And I might just continue this trend because these episodes have been way less than five minutes and have been super, super impactful.

[00:00:29] You guys are killing it. All right. Let's get started with this week's quick win that you can implement right now. And that is everybody's favorite. Let's boost our engagement. Let's boost your engagement for the holidays. Sound good. Great. I have got three ideas for you that are going to be super fun, super easy, and get you chatting with your audience.

[00:00:56] I'm going to do it with you. Okay. Step one, weekly polls or questions. One of my favorite things. I messaged Brooke the other day. She is at Brooke Bonarigo. I'm probably botching her name. Sorry, Brooke. B O N A R R I G O. She is the Southern Millennial blog and Every single week, she posts the most beautiful polls that I'm sure don't take her any time at all because I know she's got this templated in Canva and she just drops in new images and it'll be like, which fall landscape do you prefer?

[00:01:35] Which cocktail would you rather drink? And they're all like stunning, gorgeous imagery. And I'm like, do I have to choose y'all? I look forward to those polls. I think she posts them on Sundays and I always get so excited to answer the polls. I don't, I, it, it's, polls are so freaking fun. You can make them really fun.

[00:01:55] And I know that boosts her engagement for the entire week. So think of something fun that you can do with a poll for your audience. It can be something with images. It can be something like, what's your favorite holiday tradition, or what are you most looking forward to next month? If you're going to do a question instead of a poll, but do something that gets like a quick response, right?

[00:02:19] Don't do something that's like they have to, if they're going to type it out that they have to think long and hard about it, do something quick and easy. Idea number two is to

[00:02:31] just re engage your audience with a super easy call to action. In your stories, there is the option to put this little bubble with an emoji and then people will tap the emoji to give a response. I have found though that if you don't ask people to actually tap the emoji, they're not going to do it. So it could be something like, um, tap the Christmas tree if you've already started holiday planning.

[00:03:01] Tap the pumpkin pie if you love pumpkin pie. Right? Something super simple and easy. And maybe it's like sharing a picture that you took, sharing a reel, but doing something where you're like, tap this or hit the heart if you like this makes it super easy. They don't even have to type anything to engage, but it's going to boost your engagement for you.

[00:03:27] But we have to ask, isn't that so funny? But it's true, right? If you think about it, like, what do I actually engage with? Are you engaging if somebody asks? Usually. If somebody doesn't ask, it's usually like, Oh, I, as a creative coach, I know this will help their engagement. So I'm tapping without them asking, but most of our audience doesn't think that way.

[00:03:50] So you need to ask them. The third idea to boost your engagement is to start a theme day with a question box. This is something I've been brainstorming and I'm trying to decide what to do and when to do it. I may try a couple different days and just see what my audience likes best. So maybe try that, but it could be something like a, tell it to me too.

[00:04:10] Tuesday. I've seen Amanda reader do this on Tuesdays and I love it because then she shares those questions afterwards and sometimes it's like somebody celebrating something and then we all get to celebrate with them or something crazy that happened and it's entertaining or maybe somebody is like needing a link for something so she can provide an affiliate link as a resource for them.

[00:04:31] Um, you could do something like a Wednesday wins or a mom life Monday. It doesn't have to be like T for Tuesday, W for Wednesday, but that's just how my brain was working to make up these examples for you guys. So those are three quick and easy ways that you can go and start to boost your engagement, which is going to help with the holidays, help with your affiliate sales, help make those brands happy, help sell your digital product, help with your black Friday sales, see, just engagement.

[00:05:00] Helps with all the things. So go and do them, test them out, send me a DM and let me know how they're working out for you. All right. That's it for today. See you guys next time.
