How to Listen to Free Podcasts

Believe it or not, there are a lot more ways to listen to podcasts other than strictly through the podcast app on your phone. I've recently started getting into Spotify podcasts where they discuss the story behind the music. (I have a bit of a music obsession.)

But there are a lot of different platforms that you can listen to playlists on. I'm going to tell you about the different ways you can listen to podcasts with just as much ease as before.

1. Spotify

Okay, as I mentioned earlier, I love Spotify so I might be partial to their easy-to-use platform and engaging content. They have hundreds of podcasts on their platform at no cost to you. I use Spotify constantly so this is my preferred method of listening to podcasts.

This also gives you a chance to connect with friends and see what they're listening to, which is a really fun feature. If you're a student, you get a discounted price for Spotify Premium, and it comes with Hulu and Showtime! What a deal!

Spotify also has an amazing algorithm that will show you other podcasts that you might be interested in, giving you the chance to explore with ease.

 2. iTunes

iTunes is a popular method of listening to podcasts. They have millions of options for you on a simple platform.

This gives you the option to use an app already downloaded onto your phone and listen to any podcast your heart desires!

3. Stitcher

Stitcher is one of the best podcast apps out there because it uses data based on topics you've listened to or searched for before and shows you other potential podcasts that you might also enjoy.

Stitcher is similar to Spotify where you can connect with other friends on the app and see what they're listening to as well.

While we're on the topic of podcasts, go check our new podcast out! Here's a video tutorial!
