[00:00:00] For this five in five episode, I have another quick win for you, which is what we are all about this month. So head to last week's episode. If you missed it today, we are talking about a quick win in the form of an email list growth hack. Here is how you do it. You're going to take the tips from your top 10 pieces of holiday content from last year.
[00:00:26] So I want you to think any recipes that you shared, DIYs, decor tips, shopping links, even if you have styling tips. I want you to go and grab 10. 10 pieces of that content and put them into a Google doc. You don't have to get fancy with this and use Canva and a designer. I want you just to go grab it and dump the content into an organized fashion in a Google doc.
[00:00:54] Okay. Organize it. Yes, but just grab 10 pieces of content and put it in there. That is all you need to do. We don't have to always go above and beyond and design this great, amazing thing on Canva. Yeah. If you can quickly grab your content, organize it, you can even add colors and images if you want to, to that Google doc, go for it, but you can add links.
[00:01:18] You can update it even as you go. You could even do something to where you're like, Hey, if you are tired of social media and just want one doc to look for shopping links for your family, for a gift guide this year, do that. Now you are growing your email list and. Making some money with those affiliate links.
[00:01:38] So go put those 10 pieces of holiday content from last year or a gift guide into a Google doc, set up a form for your email. If you're using flow desk, or if you don't have one yet, you can use flow desk for free and start collecting emails. And then here's the key. You need to share it, share it like crazy.
[00:01:59] Think of this as like, this is your mega thing that you have made for the holidays for your audience. That is going to help them with X, Y, Z. Maybe it's going to help them have a place to go to grab a recipe that is going to be delicious for the holidays. Maybe it is a shopping guide where they have one link that they can go and everything is in one place for them.
[00:02:20] That's the beauty of this doc is it really is compiling 10 different things and putting them into one place for your audience. So it is going to make their life easier. So your goal is to share it with your audience because you want to make their life easier. See how we're reframing that we're not promoting yourself.
[00:02:38] You are making your audience's life easier. So you're going to share it twice a week on Instagram stories in those Facebook posts. You're going to make at least two reels about it with a mini chat code, right? And you're going to send them over to that form, get them to fill that out and get instant access to that Google doc.
[00:02:58] And then you're done. This is an easy way to grow your email list between now and the end of the year. This should take you two hours tops to go through and grab those different pieces of content, compile them into one Google doc, format it however you wish, make the form really quick and easy with a flow desk template and post it.
