I also wanted to give you a peek behind the curtain of others in the industry that you look up to.

Our guests share strategies they've used to grow revenue streams that are working for them and insider info you won't find anywhere else. Now let's get ready to thrive.

Hello, friends. Happy Thursday. I have a really fun episode for you guys today because I have one of my business besties and our podcast editor, manager, strategist, professional on the podcast again with me today. Hi, Haley. Hi, Brie. Thanks for having me back. Well, you are doing me a huge favor by coming on.

And so let me tell you guys. Just how I tell you that you need to be talking about things like your opt ins, or if you're selling a digital product. Like, if you're not talking about your stuff, nobody else is doing that for you. And that is something that I also have to work on really hard and I'm, I'm getting a little bit better.

And so when Haley approached me and said that she was wanting to come on and do this type of episode with her clients, I would raise my hand and said, me, please. Yes. And so I'm handing the reins over to Haley for this episode, and she is going to ask me questions about our programs and the things that we offer for you guys.

So that way you guys are getting to probably get answers from me on questions that you have had, because it's one of those things you guys know. Like, I feel like I've talked about stuff a million times, but a lot falls through the cracks, and I know that it feels the same way for you guys. So I am practicing what I teach.

And I'm really excited. So thanks for coming on and doing this with me.

[00:02:31] Haylee: Yeah, absolutely. I think it's something that we all do struggle with. And as someone who works through every single episode and sees your content, I was like, You need to be talking about this more. Like, especially with these thrive in five episodes from your shift members who are sharing their wins.

I was like, I had no idea that this was a transformation that could happen inside a shift. So yeah, I was like, we're doing this. We're pushing. Yeah. Everything aside, we're changing the schedule and you are dropping an episode about your program so that listeners who are coming here to get the education that you're giving away for free through the podcast can learn about like, okay, I'm ready to take the next step to the next level, but I'm not sure how to get there.

And I need that additional support. I'm excited to have this conversation.

[00:03:21] Bree: And I didn't want to feel like I was gatekeeping. I feel like that's one way to kind of look at it, right? Whenever we get in our heads. Cause even you just you saying that I'm starting to feel like a little stressed about it, but.

The other thing that popped up for me was I'm like, I'm kind of gatekeeping in a way by not sharing all of this with you guys more frequently and making sure you have the full scope of what we can offer you and how we can help you by not talking about it. So yeah. Let's do it. Let's do

[00:03:52] Haylee: it. So for context, I have known Bree for maybe five ish years, but we've like been closer for three or four.

Um, and I've been in your business for a couple of years now. Like I've, I've seen. Seeing the ins and outs of it. Um, and through those years, you have made quite a few pivots, both in like what you're doing day to day, what you're offering to your audience, but then also who you're serving. So I would love for you to kind of take us back to when you started Thrive, how it happened, why you started it and like what that first business move was.

[00:04:30] Bree: Yeah. So when I started Thrive, it was a hundred percent about blogging. We weren't even considering social media to be a part of that and to really see it as like a brand that you were making, but it was just blogging. So that is where I got started. When I started Thrive, it was out of a need for transparency in the blogging world.

I was blogging myself and quickly realized there was just a lack of transparency. Honest education and support for bloggers that are trying to grow a sustainable business and I was trying Everything I was on the content creation hamster wheel in an insane way and everybody was back then like writing A blog post every single day.

There were some bloggers that were cranking out three blog posts a day. And I was getting page viewed, but I wasn't actually making money. Like I was getting over 20, 000 page views, but didn't know that that was a big deal. And the most that I made from a brand deal was 200. So out of seeing all that, seeing all the hard work, and it wasn't just me, it was so many.

other bloggers that were doing that same thing. I knew there had to be other options. So that's how Thrive was born. It was a space to give bloggers the right tools and the community to actually grow their brands and make money.

[00:05:52] Haylee: I like think back to that time because I, I don't know if I've ever told you this.

I also had a blog back in the day around the time that you're talking about. And I was in college, I at the time had zero idea that you could even make money with a blog. And I was just doing it for fun. And I think so many bloggers, content creators, influencers do start out doing it for fun because it is fun.

It's fun. Fun to create content.

[00:06:21] Bree: It's usually a creative outlet, something exciting, a way to share what's going on. And then all of the sudden they start to gain this following and they then don't know what to do with it. Or maybe you are strategically growing, but then still, how, what do I do? How do I monetize this?

[00:06:41] Haylee: Yeah. And so, in the last year or so, you have actually made a pivot, well, not really a pivot, but more of an expansion beyond just bloggers. Yeah. It's probably even been longer than that, because I know, like, we shifted from Thrive Blogger as your podcast name to, like, Thrive, the podcast for bloggers, influencers, and content creators.

Yes. So, like, what, what was the driving force behind making that pivot and that expansion? Um, and. Where

[00:07:10] Bree: do you see it going right and now we're at thrive the podcast for content creators and that's really just shows like how much things have changed over the years and so like I said at the beginning we didn't have social media as a way to Include that as part of your brand.

It was just, Oh, I am a blogger. And now it's, No, I'm a content creator. Influencer is still kind of like a technical term for it, but a lot of people don't like to be associated with that word. I know you guys. So we are like, you know what? We serve content creators. And that's because I was having, starting to have conversations, so it's really been like a, a strong pivot.

It's been something we've done over the years. Like I've never turned away, like anybody that is primarily on a social media platform or anything. I can help you. We can help you with that. We have the tools and strategy for that. Why we've always encouraged having Um, and then the last one is, um, is to have a blog or an email list is to have somewhere where you can have long form content, because we can't always just put our eggs in one basket.

And so with that, needing to shift to where we're telling you guys, content creators is because I was starting to have conversations with people in the DMs. In fact, a couple of girls that just joined shift were Deterred from joining because when I popped into their DMS, my default has always been to say, how is your blog doing?

When I say that, I know that I mean in my head, your brand as a whole, but they take it as literally their blog. And so they were like, Oh, well, we're not really doing, you know, much with it right now, or we're just getting it started. But then I started to dig a little bit deeper. Cause I'm like, no, they already told me that they're making money from this.

So then I dug, I'm like, okay, well, how's what social media platforms are working for you guys? You know, how much money are you making? And then come to find out they have a thriving Facebook group with over 30, 000 members. They're making thousands of dollars every single month and I'm like, I can help you scale.

So I knew that there was a messaging issue. of me just saying blog when I mean your brand. So whether you're primarily on Instagram, on YouTube, on a blog, any of those places, the tools, the resources, the courses, the trainings that we have, the programs that we have built serve content creators. And the reality is, blogging is Awesome.

I love blogging. I, we still have so many people that we work with who solely have a blog and that's their main focus, but for anybody getting started, a blog takes time to get off the ground. It is a long game and We often need to make money right away, right? And I can't guarantee you that you're going to be able to make money from your blog in the first three months that you start it.

However, if you're really good at making content or you can make a really amazing digital product, then I can help you make money in the first three months through UGC or through strategically selling a digital product. While you're simultaneously doing long form content in the form of either a blog, an email list, or a YouTube channel.

Sign me up.

[00:10:37] Haylee: Okay, before we dive into how Thrive is helping content creators through your programs and resources, I would love for you to share some of the biggest hurdles that you see content creators facing when it comes to monetizing their platforms. You know, the

[00:10:54] Bree: biggest thing is that people come to me is overwhelmed.

Like there's just so much that you have to juggle and so many things vying for your attention. So many ways that you are just pulled in a thousand different directions, whether it's creating content, which takes so much time. Man, like everything takes time managing different platforms, engaging with your audience, pitching brands, sharing affiliate links, creating digital products.

Like there's so many things. And so many don't know like, okay, either where do I start if I'm new? Or what are the things that I need to tweak and to adjust or to give more of my focus so that way I can scale. And when you're doing that all on your own and you're just in your own head with it, and it becomes like this guessing game, it is so overwhelming and it is so tiring.

And that's something that content creators have to figure out. How am I going to combat that and make decisions strategically as a CEO? And sometimes that's really hard to do on your own. So that's why we've created. ways to support content creators. In that biggest hurdle,

[00:12:18] Haylee: right? Which if you are not in her Facebook group, you'd need to go join the thrive community over on Facebook because there is, there's so much goodness in it.

There's a huge community of content creators, bloggers, influencers, everything all lumped into that group. Um, And I'm, I mean, I'm even a part of it and I wouldn't call my, I would say like, there are a lot of content creators that still struggle to say they're content creators because I am a content creator in a sense, because I have a podcast, but like, it is hard to overcome that sometimes.

Um, so if you're looking for that extra support in that community, Make sure you head over to the Facebook group. We'll link it in the show notes, but when you first created, so you had your Facebook group for a while. Yeah. And then you founded Profitable Blogger Society, which you mentioned in your Thriving Five This Week is now known as BoldFluence.

Yeah. I would love to know, like, when you started that group, which is now BoldFluence, who was that for and who is it for now and what type of education do you create and share

[00:13:37] Bree: within BoldFluence? Yeah, so as I mentioned in the Thrive in 5 episode, we changed the name, you know, along with this conversation of we're not just serving bloggers.

And so therefore we can't really have a program name that has blogger in the title because it's going to send so many people away who we can actually help and who the content is there for. So it was created for. bloggers, primarily at the beginning. And now we've expanded all of our curriculum and support to be for content creators who are more at that beginning stage and are ready to monetize, ready to start growing and need some guidance on how to make money from it.

So it's perfect for anyone looking to start generating income, whether that's through ads, affiliate marketing, brand collabs, your own digital products. And that's what I. Like on a side note, that's what I love about this industry is you can be, you know, 90 percent in on social media or YouTube or a blog and your income streams can look completely different next to the person in the same niche right next to you.

And that's because We have our different strengths and we have our different things that we love and don't love doing. And so within Bold Fluence, we go through and teach you, here's the different ways that you can monetize. We have individual trainings on each aspect. So you get to watch them all and determine, okay, I really want to try these two this year, or I really want to hone in and focus on this one for this quarter.

And That's really what you need is you need to know what your options are and then you need to know. Okay, cool If I want to do brand deals Here's the steps that I need to take and here's how I could start making money right now Even if I have a smaller audience

[00:15:33] Haylee: Within boldfluence a new member might be or a potential member might be questioning like okay.

I want to get started What should I expect for my first month as a new member inside this community?

[00:15:47] Bree: Yeah, so in their first month, they're going to, as soon as you sign up, you're going to get logged into your Thrive Portal, as we call it. And you get all of the information for you right then and there.

So we don't, there's no gatekeeping, there's no like, Oh, you have to do X, Y, and Z first. You get to jump into our core classes. And so those cover everything from Building your email list to different revenue streams that content creators can try. So you're going to have a whole bunch of things that you can just immediately start diving in and going through.

And then that same, at the same time, that month, we have monthly calls like our office hours where they can ask questions and planning party calls, where we map out content for the upcoming month together and you get to ask questions and ask for strategy. And members also get access to our private community right away.

So if you are a part of our Facebook group, feel like it's a little bit big or have been a part of other groups that feel just like you're kind of one in this sea, you're getting into our private community where it's a little bit smaller and you can have more in depth conversations, get some personalized feedback.

From not only us, but the community in there is so helpful to each other and just that peer support and then take everything that you're learning and just start to implement it right away. There's not like, Oh, cool. I'm going to join this. And then I can't really do anything with it until I do. X, Y, and Z for three months, like, no, you get to take things and start making adjustments and making small tweaks to your business right away.

[00:17:33] Haylee: Okay. Now my question is going to be about like, for the Bullfluence members that are in the community, what are some of the transformations that they're seeing happen since becoming members? Like when they are actually doing the work inside the program? Oh my gosh, I love this

[00:17:47] Bree: question. And I feel like I've been so serious with my answers, I'm like, I feel so technical.

I'm like, oh, Bree, this is not how you talk on the podcast. Sorry, guys. I got serious. We're going to talk like friends now. Yes. Okay. When you join, um, oh my gosh, you know, some of the most fun things has been seeing, it's really an awareness, right? So when you're doing it all on your own. And even just like watching other people on social media, or maybe you have friends that you're DMing on social media.

There's still this strange barrier of things not being communicated. And like that feeling of like, I feel like there's something I'm missing, but I don't know what it is. So like, for example, we had one girl come in the group, Heidi. And she had a Beautiful brand. Her content was gorgeous. And she was ready to like, start working with brands to have that as a revenue stream.

And so when she got into the group, we started talking about this and she was like, okay, well, I have this brand that came to me. This is what they're wanting. What should I charge for this? So we were able to like, look at all her numbers, look at her stats, look at her engagement, look at everything with her and be like, okay, Based on where you're at, this is the range that you should fall in.

And so what happened, like, I'll never forget this is like, she was going to charge like 100 for a real. And we were like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, we're not doing that. Like you're way far beyond that. So we bumped it up quite a bit. She came back and was like, Oh my God, I just signed a deal. They said yes to 800.

So, like, she was going to miss out on 700 if we hadn't had that conversation. Yeah. And who's to say that she would have, like, found the right person to DM, like, a friend that would have given her that advice or would have even known to tell her how much to charge.

[00:19:45] Haylee: Yeah, I think that's the key here is like having a community of other people who have the experience and the knowledge to say you're not charging enough, like you can make so much more money and then that in turn gives members the confidence to actually go and ask for it.

[00:20:02] Bree: Exactly. It's little things like that where it's like, okay, let me, you know what, before I reply to this brand, let me go ask Brie and her team how much they think I should charge for it because they've, we've been working with content creators for years and years. So we know what the range is for where you're at.

And you know, it's, it's beyond that. It's people figuring out. little things, little tweaks they need to make to grow their email list or being like, Hey, can I get a second set of eyes on these opt in ideas before I go through the hassle of making it and not being sure if my audience is even going to do anything with it?

It's, you know, here's my blog. Can somebody look at it and tell me like, what are things I'm missing? What is, what am I doing wrong? How do I increase my page views? It's that community aspect, having a trustworthy place that you can go and get your answers. Answered.

[00:20:55] Haylee: Yeah. Amazing. Okay. Now, I want to shift into your other program.

I see what you did there. So you have BoldFluence and you have Shift. Now Shift is for more established content creators that are already monetizing to an extent. Um, and we'll get into that in just a second. But I would love to know most of your. audience is probably going to fall into the bold fluence category.

Maybe not most. Actually, I would take that back. Like,

[00:21:29] Bree: that's good. I think a lot of people think they fall into the bold fluence category. And where I would Yes, that it's probably half and half, but there's that confidence piece in that you know what you're doing and that you need to start charging your worth.

I have talked to several people this month. I've posted about it on social media because I'm like, I've got to start talking about this more. So several girls who have, let's say an average of over 40, 000 followers on Instagram who are making. Yeah. 10, 000 or less a year.

[00:22:13] Haylee: Yeah.

[00:22:15] Bree: That breaks my heart and blows my mind at the same time and just like fuels me to be like, I have to talk about this more.

I have to talk about this more because I know that there's girls listening right now who are in that boat where you have over 20, 000 followers or subscribers or whatever it may be. And you're not making the money that you should be.

[00:22:38] Haylee: Hmm.

[00:22:39] Bree: And that is, you know, just the, the reality of why I want to get our podcast out in front of more people, have our content take off, do everything we can to get our content seen.

Because I love it. My goal in life, my passion for, you know, being in this business is I want people to go make a shit ton of money. Like you have amazing content and you're putting so much effort into it. You deserve the paycheck that comes along with that hard work. And oftentimes it's just that you don't know what you don't know and you need to surround yourself with people that can say, Hey, here's a couple of small tweaks that you can make.

To start seeing an increase in your income right away. Oh yeah. How

[00:23:29] Haylee: many people would you say, like go through bold fluence and then are ready to move into shift the

[00:23:38] Bree: people that, so if. In the past, we've had it to where Bold Fluence was a 12 month program. We've changed that now because we know circumstances change and we wanted to make sure that there was no, like, barrier to entry with anybody joining.

So we've changed that to where you can join month to month. But I will say, the girls that, like, have been in it and done it for 12 months, 12 months, done the work, showed up to the calls, showed up in the Facebook group and asked for feedback. Those ones are the ones that I can think of right away that I like have moved on to the next step and are like, okay, cool.

Now I'm making enough money. to where I'm ready to scale and I'm ready for more support. And now they're in shift or graduated from shift now and making a lot of money. Amy is one of them. We've had her on the podcast where she started in bold fluence and started getting feedback and support from us.

And then whenever we open shift, she's one that I was like, Hey, I think you might be in this program instead, because now that we've worked together for a while, you're starting to make more money. So probably when she joined, she was, you know, she was not full time by any means. She was making a few hundred dollars a month and now.

After being in shift, she is making more than she was making when she was a teacher and she's still growing. Like, it's amazing. Like she's, we're still working together and she's just like scaling every single year. Okay. Let's

[00:25:10] Haylee: talk about shift now. So as your more established program or your program for more established creators, can you give us a rundown of which program?

A creator should choose based on their needs, where they are. Like, are there, is there a way for them to distinguish, okay, bold fluences for me, or I'm like in the middle or, okay, I need to go all in with shift because I'm already. I'm past the like foundational piece of it.

[00:25:39] Bree: Yeah. Yeah. So if you're a content creator who's already making some income and looking to scale shift as a place for you, because shift is going to include high level strategy, group coaching, direct support to help you focus on what's really going on to move the needle in your business with where we're at in shift, I.

I'm going to dive into your business and have my eyes on the inside of like your data. Like we go through everything together when you first join. So that way I have a full view of what's going on in your business and can help you make calculated decisions to grow. We just had somebody join and I just did her roadmap earlier today.

And I was so excited for her because there's just small tweaks that she needs to make. It's not even like an overhaul of everything. In fact, I would say everybody that joins, it's never an overhaul that you have to make. I think sometimes, at least for me, like when I look at joining a new program, I'm like, Oh, what's all the work they're going to make me do?

I don't really have the time to do that. I'm already busy and overwhelmed. That's all of us. And so we were not going to make a program that did that to you, but that's, what's exciting is like content creators are already doing things that are working. Oftentimes it's somebody coming in and being like, Hey, I've got a better strategy.

Let's tweak this a little bit and instantly start to see a difference in the content. their business. So that's shift. It's if you're already making some money. And when I say some money, it is a huge sliding scale because, you know, we have people that we've worked with in shift who have made, you know, started out making 10, A year when they joined and people that were making over a hundred thousand dollars a year when they joined The bottom line is just if you're making some income and ready to Get eyes and get help to go to the next level.

That's what shift is for versus boldfluence Is where you start if you're still figuring out how to monetize? And, you know, what the things are in your business that you want to do to start growing. While shift is for those who want to grow beyond that.

[00:27:59] Haylee: So shift would give you a little more support in the, almost like a one on one capacity.

Okay.

[00:28:07] Bree: Yes. We've structured it to where, I mean, inside bold fluence, it's 37 a month. And so there's only so much me and my team can do at that price point. We can't hop on one on one calls for that price point. We can't deep dive into things, but we can answer really in depth questions for you inside the Facebook group or on that coaching call.

[00:28:29] Haylee: Yeah. I think that

[00:28:30] Bree: coaching call is

[00:28:31] Haylee: a key for that price point. Like, yes, that's worth it. Oh, yeah. Because you're not only, one of my favorite things about like group calls like that is you may not know the questions you have, but someone else does and they're asking. So I love to jump on calls like that just to listen.

Like Oh yeah.

[00:28:51] Bree: I won't have anything going into them. And I just, I'm like, I'm here to just learn what everybody else is doing. Yes. Like

[00:28:57] Haylee: I, there's been so many times where I've like created new offers, new, oh yeah. you know, um, Advertising packages for podcasts based on something. Someone said that I was like that sparked this idea and this idea.

Yeah. Great. Is this, Oh, I need

[00:29:12] Bree: to try that. I should be doing that. Why didn't I think of that? Because we're in our own bubble and we're in our own head. So just hearing what others are doing is so invaluable. Yeah. Versus shift. They're getting more of that one on one on a weekly basis. It's not calls. I don't have.

We don't have it set up to where everybody's hopping on an individual call every single week because people are busy. Again, I'm not going to add more things to anybody's plate, including my own. But I am going to make it so you can get one on one support from us every single week. We've just created a really cool system that doesn't take you a lot of time.

Again, it's like everything we're doing is to reduce overwhelm. And increase your bottom line.

[00:29:54] Haylee: Amazing. So now that we're on shift, I want to talk about this retreat you just had, because it looked amazing. Um, there were so many members that were able to come and be a part of it. Um, and that's actually where all of the thriving five episodes for last month came from, and I would love for you to share.

I guess I, well, in those Thriving Fives, some of them shared some of their accomplishments. I would love to hear some of your favorite accomplishments that you've seen SHIFT members make during their time in SHIFT.

[00:30:33] Bree: Oh my gosh, there's, there's been so many. I mean, those Thriving Fives, like, you know, Liz telling me that her income doubled.

As doubled every single year that she's been inside shift or Haley telling me that because I'm like, Oh yeah, I, I helped her with that funnel. And I remember looking at the pages and giving her feedback and us going through it a bunch of times. And now that it's converting to where she's making a thousand dollars a month from a 7 product.

Like that's crazy. That's so exciting to, you know, like somebody having a win and hitting a follower number on social media that they have been working really hard towards or. Securing their first four figure brand deal. Like it's, it's little wins like that, that are like really big wins for people and for individuals, as we all know, and it's just those things.

Like I always am popping into, we have a private Slack community for our shift girls, and I'm always popping in there and being like, share a win that you've had. And it doesn't matter if it's. It's big or small. And that's what I love about the group. My hope when I had started shift was that the community that we built in there would turn into like a mastermind.

And it really has to where they're all like invested in each other's businesses and want to see each other succeed and want to see each other have those wins that they can celebrate together. And that for me has been one of the coolest things.

[00:32:03] Haylee: Amazing. Okay. Bye bye. When it comes to transformations inside of shift, can you give me like three examples that we haven't mentioned of what is something that someone could come into shift with the expectation of working towards?

[00:32:20] Bree: Oh yeah. Um, okay. Three, only three things. Let's see. You know, the first is usually they want to come in and they want to increase their income, right? They want to, they want to make more money. And I will say that's happened for every single person that's ever joined. Which, I mean, what, I, I've never made anything else like that, that I can proudly say that about, that every single member has seen an increase in their income from joining.

[00:32:48] Haylee: Amazing. That, that's like a really nice ROI on their investment. I don't even know what to say

[00:32:52] Bree: about that. Like that makes me, that makes me really proud and that's something I'm working on in therapy is being proud of myself, but I'm really proud of the program that we've built, that it's actually working and it gives people like something exciting to look forward to.

The other thing is a reduction in overwhelm. So many girls come into the program and they are stressed. They're feeling like this might be my kind of like last ditch effort to see if I can make this work. Or they're working like 50 hours a week, working on the weekends. And I immediately address that.

And we immediately figure out how do we reduce your overwhelm? How do we make it so you're working less? And yeah. They still all make more money while working less. Crystal came in and she was one of the girls that was working like 50 hours a week and like, cool, we're going to not do that anymore. And.

And it was hard for her at first, right? Because she was equating, like, if I spend more time, I'm going to make more money, but it's like, no, we just got to like, work in different ways, adjust your strategy. You're going to make more money and be less overwhelmed and stop working so much.

[00:34:07] Haylee: I have another question for you.

I have so many questions. I know you do. And I'm just like watching the

[00:34:11] Bree: time. I'm like, this is going to be one of our longest episodes.

[00:34:14] Haylee: I know. I'm so sorry, but it's like, I keep getting inspired with another question. Um, Because we are talking about content creators, what would you say, like, if someone came to you and they were like, I only have a thousand Instagram followers, is BoldFluence still a good option for me?

What would you say? Versus Shift? No, like, just to get started.

[00:34:37] Bree: Oh, just to get, absolutely. Absolutely, we've had people join BoldFluence that have had zero. And have not even had anything set up yet. They're just ready to get started. They're ready to get started. But the thing is they want to start on the right foot.

Right? Like they're like, okay, if I'm going to do this, I want to do it the right way. And so we've had people come and I've been like, Oh, I don't know if I should join yet. I haven't got it started yet. And I always encourage them. I'm like, That's actually great because we can help you make sure that you don't hit all of these pitfalls that other people are hitting

[00:35:12] Haylee: awesome, okay, and then for The person that is asking like okay I feel like I want to go all in I'm making just a little bit of money on my stuff But maybe they're more qualified for Yeah.

For Bold Fluence. Yeah. But they want to do SHIFT. Mm hmm. Like, should they jump on a call with you? Yeah. What would you, what would you say to them?

[00:35:34] Bree: Yeah. That's usually, and it's kind of a hard place, right? Because I'm not going to tell you like, no, you can't do this. We do have an application process for SHIFT for that reason.

I don't just have an open cart because I want to make sure that it's the right investment for you. Because it is an investment. And I, that's, you know, why we can say like, we have that success record of like, everybody has made more money when they've joined shift is because they've been in the right spot for them at the right time.

So if you're like, okay, I'm making money and I'm ready to make an investment, I have the means to do so, but is this right for me? Then yeah, the best thing is to like shoot us a DM or an email and for us to be able to chat through like, okay, where are you at? Um, I'll ask you questions. All kinds of questions.

I love to ask questions and figure out where you are because that's what helps me help you. So yeah, shooting us a message so we can just like be like, okay, which is the right path for you? Because I'm not going to put somebody in a program where it doesn't make sense. I know what it's like to be on a budget and just, I think all of us just kind of care where our money goes.

So I also care about where your money goes.

[00:36:49] Haylee: Amazing. Okay. So we will link in the show notes, both your email address and your Instagram to DMU. Yeah,

[00:36:58] Bree: absolutely.

[00:36:59] Haylee: All right. Final question for you. Say someone's listening and they're like, okay, I don't know that a program is going to be the right fit for me just because of who I am as a person.

What resources do you have? Currently that they could look into getting that would help them with getting started through monetizing Yeah. Um,

[00:37:22] Bree: head to shop. thrivetogether. blog. We'll link that in the show notes for you guys. We have some resources there. So if you're wanting to grow your email list, if you're wanting to work with brands and you're like, I really just need a strategy on this specific thing, that's where you want to go.

is go and check out those resources and see what's there that's going to really help you.

[00:37:45] Haylee: Perfect. Amazing. I'm excited for everyone to hear this episode and kind of determine which one's right for them because I feel like it's so easy to just like skim over, you know, promos and content on Instagram and not really know the difference or go deep dive on, on a landing page.

But I'm excited for people to start enrolling in bold, fluent and in shift and see them make money with their content.

[00:38:16] Bree: Me too. That's, you know, I have it written on. My bulletin board that I want to help women quit their full time jobs that they hate in order to do the things that they love Like yes, that's right there I see it on my bulletin board every single time I come to my office and that's my goal with Every single thing that we do here at thrive

[00:38:38] Haylee: Amazing.

Awesome. Well, thank you for letting me come on here. I'm like, oh, it's my show. I

[00:38:44] Bree: should probably close this out Thank you Haley for interviewing me and for being here I really appreciate it. Thanks for getting me out of my shell. And I'm gonna take this transcript and go turn it into a million different, um, social media posts now.

Woohoo! Alright, you guys. Thanks for sticking around on this long episode. I can't wait to talk to you more. Please dive into my DMs. Dive in! Head first. Shoot me a video message. I love video messages, but you can also just message if you're like, ooh, I'm scared. Um, so I'll see you guys over there, otherwise we'll see you back here in a few days with a new episode.

The Journey of Thrive

When Thrive began, we focused purely on blogging, filling a gap in transparency within the industry. Back in the day, relentless content creation was common, but it didn't guarantee financial success. Over time, we evolved to include social media and other forms of content creation. Embracing the broader term of "content creators," we cater to those strategizing across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

Expanding to Serve All Content Creators

While we've always embraced Thrive as our brand, we have shifted who we're educating. What started out solely as a resource and program for bloggers, eventually shifted into a platform where all content creators could come and learn. This change reflects our broader scope and ensures no one feels alienated by the narrow terms of blogging, but instead focuses on your brand as a whole. We want to support everyone from bloggers to social media influencers to ensure they're making money with their content.

Programs for Content Creators: Boldfluence vs. Shift

After a few years of running Thrive, we created Boldfluence (previously known as Profitable Blogger Society) that successfully ran for years. We later introduced Shift, which allows for more intentional and custom time for our members. But what's really the difference?

Boldfluence

Boldfluence is the ideal program for beginners content creators who are ready to monetize their content. Whether it be through offering ads or brand collabs, to affiliate marketing and digital products. Our members get access to:

  • Our core classes on monetization
  • Monthly group calls
  • A private, supportive Facebook community

Shift

Shift is designed for established creators, providing high-level strategy and personalized support. It's about making calculated decisions to grow your business, ensuring personalized insights without overwhelming you. Our members get access to:

  • Monthly group calls
  • Weekly support through work reviews
  • A private Slack channel

Earlier this year, we even introduced an in-person retreat for members. At this retreat, we had a few members share their experience inside of Shift, along with the biggest impact it has made on their business:

Which program is right for you?

Both programs focus on enhancing income and reducing overwhelm. We've seen incredible transformations, from members doubling their income to achieving work-life balance. Within each of our programs at Thrive, we're focused on building an environment where creators share wins, no matter the size, leading to a thriving ecosystem of support and growth.

Whether you have under 1,000 followers and want to make money or you're are already earning from your platform, we have a place for you. Boldfluence and Shift are tailored to meet you where you are, ensuring you receive the guidance necessary to succeed.
