[00:00:00] Bree: Hi friends, welcome back to a thriving five. I have my friend Liz here who is with me at our shift retreat here in Minneapolis. So it is for anybody that is inside shift, which is our group coaching program. And you're here. I'm finally getting to meet you in person

[00:00:22] Liz: after what? Two years, two and a half years.

Yeah. It's been that long and we're meeting in real life for the first time. And it's amazing. Like, I already don't want the retreat to end because that means I have to leave you. I know. I don't want to.

[00:00:34] Bree: I'll just take you home with me. It's fine.

[00:00:36] Liz: Okay, let's go. Let's go. Just go right down the road.

[00:00:39] Bree: Okay. So, um, can you tell everybody where they can go and follow you?

[00:00:54] Liz: I am a home and DIY content creator. So I show you how to decorate and renovate your home.

[00:01:01] Liz: Yeah. It's lots of fun.

[00:01:02] Bree: It's so much fun. You guys, it's not, I don't know.

Like you teach like such great DIYs and share so much fun stuff, but. Your personality and you just like, you let it shine through and everybody, I feel like I'm always smiling and always laughing whenever you're doing any content.

[00:01:20] Liz: Yeah, that's the goal. It's like a little ray of sunshine when you come to my corner of the internet.

That's the goal. It's so much fun. Oh my

[00:01:27] Bree: gosh. Well, I am just so honored that you are You've been a part of SHIFT since the beginning. You're still in SHIFT all these years later. Can you tell me what is one of the biggest wins you've had from being in the program?

[00:01:42] Liz: Meeting you, meeting the girls in shift, like the connection and the networking and everything you have, because it can be a very lonely job doing what you do, um, because you're by yourself.

But on a business side, you know, I was reflecting on the past two years, I have tripled my affiliate income and I've doubled year after year since I've been in shift. I don't know if I've ever told you that.

[00:02:04] Bree: I don't think you have. I

[00:02:05] Liz: don't think I have. So each year that I've been in shift, my income has doubled.

Really? Yeah. Wow. Yeah. That's amazing. It's been amazing. I couldn't have done it without you with your personal coaching and shift and you're stuck with me.

[00:02:20] Bree: That's fine. I love it. And you were just, you're killing it. I mean, I can see just like looking back, like your confidence from like the first time of us meeting and everything, and just like how you have gone into feeling confident with.

negotiating with brands, feeling confident with saying no, or what you are willing to do and not do anymore. And just even with like, okay, new things that you're going to try with your audience. Whereas I feel like at the beginning, you're like, okay, I'm going to try it. I'm going to tell them That they're screwing me over on this, you know, person that I hired and they're not doing their job right like before it was like, Oh, I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings and not that you want to hurt somebody's feelings or you're a mean person But like you have gained so much confidence that I have seen do you do you see that

[00:03:10] Liz: I do you've helped me create Boundaries as far as like personal and business go.

Like don't let the personal get so much into it, have the confidence. And so now when I approach things, I feel like I put like my business hat on, like kind of let's, let's deal with it. Let's work with it. And then like, let's move on. And it's been the biggest game changer in my business. So, and I didn't even really think about that because when we did first like connect and everything, you know, I'd say, Oh, I've got to talk to this person and like, say three weeks later, you'd be like, Liz, you know, I'm So have you handled XYZ?

No, I'm still kind of nervous too. And now it's like, okay, we just got to, we got to handle it like right now. Yeah.

[00:03:50] Bree: Just, okay. Go shoot off the email right now. Let's draft it right now while we're talking and just, let's just get it off your plate.

[00:03:56] Liz: Yes.

[00:03:56] Bree: Yeah.

[00:03:57] Liz: Thanks to you and your confidence though. I mean, that's what you show the members and shift because of how you leading by example and how you run your business.

We see that and that gives us the confidence to do the same.

[00:04:11] Bree: So glad. Oops. No. Hugs! Ear hugs! Ear hugs! If there's anybody that's like Maybe they're just hearing about shift or they're like, Oh, I think I might want to apply for this, but they're just kind of like on the fence and maybe kind of where you were before you did sign up.

Like, what would you tell them?

[00:04:25] Liz: It does not hurt to get on a call with you to see if they're a good match. And it's always 100 percent worth it to invest in yourself. You never regret investing. Investing in yourself and pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone. And, you know, I'm very open about it.

I've had a lot of anxiety this past year, and you've helped me to push past some fears that have catapulted my business this past year. So I say, if you're on the fence, you need to go for it. Okay. Oh my gosh.
