[00:00:23] I'm Bree Pair your coach for content creators, and I know the struggle. The long hours, the endless ideas, the feeling that success is just out of reach. But here's the truth. You've got what it takes in this podcast. It's your shortcut to getting there from strategies that actually work to behind the scenes insights.

[00:00:43] We are unlocking your potential one episode at a time. So if you're ready to turn your creative hustle into a thriving business. Let's get started.

[00:00:56] This is episode six of the series all about growing your audience, and it was inspired by our audience growth plans inside of boldfluence because we believe every content creator needs to be able to make money and grow your audience the way that you want. So we've created 25 different growth path combinations that you can choose from for your business.

[00:01:17] 25. Crazy, right? So as soon as you join, we will teach you the different options and get you started. So you can pick the audience growth path and monetization plan that feels best for you, so you are in full alignment with your business. And when you are in full alignment, that is when the magic happens.

[00:01:35] This episode of the peak behind what that looks like. Why does TikTok have so much potential? TikTok is still one of the best platforms for fast organic reach. It's wild. It's truly one of those platforms that has opportunity for great reach, even if you have zero followers. I don't feel like that is the case on any other platform.

[00:02:01] Other platforms feel like a very slow growth from Zero and TikTok can be different, which is what feels really exciting over there. You don't have to go viral. You just need content that connects and converts and you slowly start to see growth. So inside Bolt lens, we teach creators how to use short form video in a way that's aligned with their brand and bandwidth without chasing trends or burning out.

[00:02:27] And before we go any further, let me just answer this question that I have gotten over the months. Do I think TikTok is gonna get banned or it's gonna go away? No, I do not. I just don't if I'm wrong. I'll buy a BRI cup of coffee. I truly, I don't think it's going away. And there are, you know, it's that thing too, like you don't wanna put your eggs all in one basket.

[00:02:51] Absolutely not. That is something I have always taught. We do not do that around here because any of these platforms could just poof, disappear, which is why I love to talk about email. So I don't think it's going anywhere, but it is a good reminder that you need to diversify. The great thing about TikTok videos is if you're making them, you can also repost them over on YouTube shorts.

[00:03:14] You can use Facebook, you can use Instagram, right? It's short form video content, and that is on all of the platforms right now. So let's talk about the big mindset shift when it comes to TikTok. That is that TikTok doesn't have to feel chaotic. It can very quickly. But here's the thing, you don't need to be funny or viral or glued to your phone.

[00:03:39] It doesn't have to feel like any of those things. You just have to have a strategy that plays to you strengths and then get off it when you're not working. So we help creators stop posting just a post and start posting with purpose. Even just posting two to three times per week can grow your visibility when the right message is behind it.

[00:04:02] Viral is not a strategy, but consistent clear marketing is what does a 90 day TikTok growth plan look like That we map out bully for you inside of bold fluence. I'm gonna give you a sneak peek to that right now and talk about the next three months and what that can look like for you. So month one, let's set the stage for growth.

[00:04:24] So you need to define your visibility goal, clean up your profile and batch your first view videos using go to content categories that feel aligned with your brand. That is a word that I love. I mentioned it twice now in this podcast, but you have to feel aligned with what you're doing. If you don't feel aligned with what you're doing, like, let's just have a sidebar about this.

[00:04:48] Okay. If you are not feeling aligned with your content, with what you're posting, with the platform that you're using, and you are just going through the motions, but something just feels super off when you just keep ignoring it, you burn out and you push through and you hit a wall and the growth doesn't happen.

[00:05:15] The money stalls and everything feels like you're trudging through mud. But when you are in alignment and you go back to your core self and look at what feels good to me. That's when things work, that's when things click. Every time I have made a pivot in my business or started a new program or closed a program, it has all felt in alignment and it works.

[00:05:45] Every time I start something new, go in a different direction and it feels. Not quite in alignment. And it feels fun, but it feels a little hard, and there's a little bit of resistance there. You can look at my stuff across the board, I'm not doing it anymore. Or I'll go silent on certain platforms and we all do this, right?

[00:06:08] So it has to feel in alignment. Okay, now let's jump back into TikTok. Sidebar over. Um, alright, so month two we're gonna create with consistency and intention. So posting three to four times a week experimenting with different styles, start weaving in, maybe soft promotion to drive traffic to an opt-in or a blog or a digital product, right?

[00:06:32] Like this is where we get to kind of experiment and have some fun with this. I want it all to be fun, but experimenting I think is always a good idea. Month three, we're gonna focus on optimizing and growing with purpose. So really, okay, we spent month two experimenting. Now let's double down on what's working.

[00:06:50] Let's start a new content series, and let's use our TikTok to fuel growth across. All platforms, especially your email list, right? Talked about that at the beginning. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. So let's use this growth to fuel sustainable growth long term. And just remember, you don't need to go viral.

[00:07:13] You need to be recognizable. So show up with clarity and keep it consistent. So what are some common mistakes that stall growth with TikTok trying to do everything. That's the biggest one. Trying to do all the trends, trying to do the tips, trying to do the skids, aesthetics all at once, all at the same time and just overdoing it.

[00:07:35] The other thing, overdoing it is overthinking, video editing, or waiting until it's perfect. Okay. Mistake three is posting without a clear call to action, what do we want the end result of this video to be? Do we want them to share it? Do we want them to comment? Do we want them to go and find a link? Do we want them to comment a keyword, right?

[00:07:55] Like, what do we want to have happen here? And then the fourth mistake that we see all too often is just chasing followers instead of funneling to something you own. Again, we want this to be long-term sustainable, not just sustainable for a month, three months, a year, right? We want to build a business that is going to retire us and retire us.

[00:08:19] Well, can we just talk about that for a second? Another quick little sidebar. When we retire, we want it to be cushy. We want it to be in our dream home with our dream lifestyle, all the things. Right. That is the type of retirement I'm talking about. Not just, oh, I'm retired and I am like buying ramen noodles.

[00:08:44] No, no, no. We are having nice ramen noodles from a fancy restaurant or having a chef come and make it for us. Okay. That's the type of retirement that I want for all of us. So how does Bold Fluence help you get there? We help you pick a TikTok content format that fits your brand and your lifestyle. You're gonna get some plug and play content ideas, some hooks and growth strategies, and then coaching, peer feedback, and weekly support to keep you from ghosting your audience or burning out, because TikTok can feel overwhelming.

Why TikTok Still Matters in 2025

If you’re wondering whether TikTok is still worth your time, the answer is a resounding yes.

TikTok remains the most generous platform for organic reach even if you have zero followers. Unlike other platforms where growth is a grind from the ground up, TikTok gives new creators a chance to reach audiences immediately. That’s rare and powerful.

Here’s a caveat: the chaos is real. If you’re hopping from trend to trend, burning out to keep up, or feeling completely disconnected from your content, you’ll stall.

Which brings us to the solution: alignment over algorithm.

What Alignment Really Means for Creators

Alignment isn’t fluff—it’s foundational. If your content doesn’t feel like you, you’ll lose energy, inspiration, and motivation. When you’re pushing out videos you don’t enjoy making, just to “keep up,” that disconnect shows. And worse? It slows your growth.

Alignment means:

  • You feel good about what you’re posting.
  • You’re not dreading content creation.
  • You’re showing up in a way that’s sustainable.

If something feels off, you’re allowed to pause and pivot. That moment of reflection could be the key to your next big breakthrough.

The 90-Day TikTok Growth Plan for Creators

Month 1: Set the Stage for Growth

Month one is where we lay the foundation:

  • Define your visibility goals: Do you want more reach, more email sign-ups, or more traffic to your products? Clarity comes first.
  • Clean up your profile: Make sure your bio speaks directly to who you serve and what value you offer.
  • Batch your first few videos: Use content categories that feel aligned, like education, behind-the-scenes, opinion, inspiration; whatever fits your voice.

Pro tip: Don’t overthink the first few videos. Just start. Momentum matters more than perfection.

Month 2: Create With Intention

Once you've laid the foundation, it's time to experiment with your content:

  • Post 3–4 times per week: No need to post daily. What matters is consistency and clarity.
  • Try different formats: Talk to camera, voiceovers, on-screen text to see what clicks for you and your audience.
  • Weave in soft promotion: Link to your freebie, a blog post, a digital product. Don’t wait until you “have more followers” to start selling.

Remember: Content is how people discover you. Offers are how you grow a business.

Month 3: Optimize and Expand

By the third month, you have enough content that you can review and double down on what's working:

  • Analyze what worked in month 2: Look at saves, shares, and comments, not just views.
  • Start a content series: It builds familiarity and saves you from decision fatigue.
  • Repurpose smart: Post to YouTube Shorts, Reels, and Facebook. Use that TikTok energy to grow across all platforms.

Common Mistakes That Stall Growth

Let’s skip the burnout cycle. We know that content creation without a plan or strategy can lead to burnout. That's why it's important to know what works for you, your audience, and your life. Here's what I see so many creators trying to do that ends up hurting their growth and content:

  1. Trying to do everything: You don’t need to do trends, tips, skits, aesthetics, and storytelling every week. Pick 1–2 styles and stick with them.
  2. Overthinking and over-editing: Done is better than perfect. Always.
  3. Posting with no CTA: Every video should have a purpose: save this, comment below, click the link.
  4. Chasing followers instead of funneling: Growth for growth’s sake is exhausting. Instead, guide people to your email list or offer.
