[00:00:00] Tired of overpriced courses and memberships with no proof that they work. Yeah, same. If you've ever thought, Ugh, another influencer selling advice, do they even have the experience to back it up this episode's for you? I want to share what makes me qualified to help you grow your business for real, because you need to be able to trust me as your podcast host and potentially as your coach.

[00:00:33] So I wanna share in this episode who I am and why you can trust me. I started blogging in 2011, so long before reels, TikTok, all of that was a thing, and back then I was building something out of pure passion. I had a blog that was full of my favorite things and I grew it to over 20,000 monthly page views, and I had no idea.

[00:01:03] That was a big deal. I didn't monetize my blog except for one $250 brand deal. Crazy, right? I wish I could go back and talk to myself then, but. Out of that, what I found was community. And in 2014, I co-founded a blogging conference called Thrive. And in 2016, I fully took it over running the conference and my blog at the same time, along with everything else in life.

[00:01:35] Right? And as the community grew, so did the need for more than once a year support, I felt this. Emptiness or like, oh my gosh, I am doing so many people a disservice that can't come to the conference. Or whether it's because of time and travel or money or all these things or that we're sold out. And so I knew I wanted to have more that would be able to help even more creators.

[00:02:09] So in 2018. I launched the Thrive Podcast and I officially stepped into coaching, but I did not go full-time with Thrive until 2022. So what was I doing in between that time that was helping me build up my expertise and give me the confidence to keep coaching and to coach people full time? I was doing work behind the scenes for 11 years.

[00:02:42] Oh, I don't like saying that many years, but it is what it is. And so that looked like coaching creators one-on-one and helping them go full-time learning from. Hundreds of content creators and strategists that I interviewed on the podcast, because back then I didn't do any solo episodes. It was all episodes with guests and.

[00:03:06] So I was learning from them every single week and then testing and tweaking strategies on my own blog with clients and through hours of hands-on work. I worked in marketing as a manager, because remember, I wasn't doing this full-time, so I was, I had multiple jobs. I worked in marketing as a manager. I was an online business manager and I was even an influencer manager at one point.

[00:03:33] So yes, I have seen how brands really think behind the scenes. I helped a client launch her first book with PR content and social strategies that actually moved the needle. So why does all of this matter for you? Because this isn't just in theory like, oh, that would be nice if somebody knew how to do this.

[00:04:00] No, I've actually done the work. I have helped creators go from $1,000 month to replacing a full-time teaching salary. I've helped a client triple their income in two years, going from a hundred thousand dollars year to an over $300,000 profitable year. I. I have helped multiple clients quit their jobs and go full-time doing what they love, helped clients get out of their own heads and finally make real progress in their business, and have helped hundreds of clients build a business that they actually like with the burnout, my superpower.

[00:04:40] Is that I know how to jump into your business and see the real gaps, and from there, make suggestions that feel aligned and custom. I am never going to put you in a box. This industry is. Multifaceted and has so many different ways for you to reach your audience and to monetize. So by me creating some formula or some program where you have to follow these exact steps to see success, I don't do that.

[00:05:18] There's a toolbox and it has got so many things in it, and I pull the right tools for where you are and where you want to go. I. Every time I work with a new client, we're pulling different tools out of that toolbox. I also deeply believe in mental health and sustainable growth because if your business doesn't support your life, it's not working, and my job is to help you build something that lasts.

[00:05:45] We're not building something to just be good for this year, for the next two years. We want something that is going to sustain something that will pivot with you and is going to help you grow in a really fun way, not just constant. Pressure to show up. I wanna leave you with this. You shouldn't trust just anybody on the internet.

[00:06:07] You shouldn't just trust somebody because they have an audience or because they say they're an expert. You should trust somebody who's done the work, has helped others succeed, and genuinely cares about your growth. And if that sounds like the kind of support you've been looking for, then you are in the right place.

[00:06:29] So from here you can head to Thrive Together blog slash coaching, and explore different ways to work.
